Healthcare Programs

The Alphaeus S. Brown Health Program: LBSF will support health projects in honor of Alphaeus Brown, World War I veteran, educator, lay preacher and patriarch of the Brown family. LBSF will provide in-kind assistance of equipment and other medical supplies within the limits of available resources to the Fair Prospect Clinic and other community-based health initiatives.

We promote improved health care through grants of --

  • disposable medical supplies
  • equipment
  • medical missions
The Fair Prospect Clinic in Portland, Jamaica for example, provides dental and medical services to children and their families in surrounding communities. As the closest hospitals is more than 12 miles away, this clinic is vital to the delivery of basic health care.
